Sensei Matt Taylor started his karate journey in 1988 at the age of 14 and obtained his first black belt in 1997. He now trains and instructs as a 4thDan at his Twyford dojo as well as at the Wokingham Karate Academy where he began his studies.

Great club effective self defence.
After much research I have settled my son into this club, he loves the lessons, being a traditional form of karate, it is a useful art for self defence, my sons confidence and self discipline have also improved, having a benefit for other areas of his life such as discipline at school. Matt is a great teacher and can highly recommend the club.
