We aim to be the most rewarding 3 star small hotel experience in Aberdeenshire. Many think of Aberdeen in particular as a terminus, besotted by oil and resultantly being dominated by the large corporate style standardised hotel. Not here. This little hotel has a warm personality all of its own. We deliver 4 star standards at 3 star prices~prices you'll love. However we know how important dining is to our customers and we are the proud owners of an AA Rosette for excellence in cuisine.

We like to think they feel at home here because the carefully chosen furnishings, antique furniture and prints make each of our twenty six rooms entirely individual. In fact, in these days of standardised rooms, the only thing that is "standard" about our accommodation is its unquestionable comfort - along with, of course, the usual conveniences of en suite bathrooms, satellite television and direct dial telephones. We are a pet friendly hotel and welcome guests with well behaved pets in a selection of our rooms. Ideally pets should bring their own bedding.

Expect a very flexible approach to your room requirements. Fluffy towels and extra bedding as standard. Family rooms are available as are childrens’ menus although most of our discerning children prefer the adult menus!
