Established in 2002 “The UK Hair Academy" is an approved city & guilds training centre offering trainee's, stylists, managers and owners a high quality, variety of courses, and workshops at affordable prices to teach and inspire you to be the best in the industry.

We offer the NVQ Level 2 and Level 3, to give you what it takes to be the perfect hairdresser, or maybe your a stylist working in a salon, or freelance and want to be inspired and learn the latest creative hairdressing trends, with techniques delivered by one of our guest artists, while all under a roof of a busy working salon, with the choice of working at a steady pace or fast-track.

Workshops

Colour foundation workshop

2 days – (Theory on day 1 – practical on day 2)

Price: £200.00

This is for beginners in colour, who want to understand the numbering system and application of basic colour work. (product – Wella)

Colour technician workshop

2 days – (Theory on day 1 – practical on day 2)

Price: £300.00

Scared of reds and blondes or want to know how to get the best result and avoid glared roots or yellow tones, be confident with inter-mixing, combinations, recipes, colour placements and results.

Colour correction workshop

2 days – (Theory on day 1 – practical on day 2)

Price: £300.00

Knowledge and understanding, targets and results, recipes, do's and dont's. “Be a master in the colour field."

Cut above workshop

1 day – Practical

Price: £200.00

Feeling stuck in an era? why not gain some new ideas, knowledge and skills on creating the latest looks with the “cut above" techniques.

Your will feel confident, and be buzzing on taking your new founded skills back to your salon and get creating on your clients and colleagues.

Hair up workshop

1 day – Practical

Are you stuck in a era? or constantly doing the same hair up styles on all your brides or prom girls, or everything looks like a bun! This course is for beginners or those who are already enjoying the art of hair up. You will be guided through step by step techniques on a mannequin head, learning the latest looks to some beautiful elegant outcomes to cover weddings, proms and every day looks.

REFRESHER COURSE

Update your skills, and learn the latest techniques achieving all the latest fashion styles, while building complete confidence in yourself and your ability to please any client that walks through your door. “Become a cut above the rest"

This is an intense course, its individually tailored to meet your exact needs.

Much of the course will be one to one intensive training, mixed with some group training and shadow work.

We will customise the course to deliver you the best training, from cutting, colouring, hair extensions and hair up, practical and knowledge.

The days can be arranged to suit you. Tuesday – Saturday (10am – 4pm)

Training in UK Hair Academy, along side stylists from Cedars, a busy salon, you'll gain plenty of experience, skills and expected results from attending this course.

The cost of this course is £180.00 per day “SPECIAL OFFER" 10% discount for more than 5 days.

5 days – £900.00

Dates all year

You will receive a UK Hair Academy diploma on completing your course with further support through our facebook page for any questions and answers, or advance your technical skills with our workshops.

Hairdressing NVQ Level 2

Whether you're looking to begin your hairdressing career, half way through your training or nearing the end of it, you will need something special, something that will give you all the knowledge, experience and skills you'll need to be a stylist.

this course will guide you through the basics in cutting, styling and colouring with further options offering braiding, perming, adding hair or mens cutting.

you will receive the techniques and knowledge to pass your assessments that go towards completing your city & guilds NVQ Hairdressing Diploma Level 2. “The qualified hairdresser."

The duration of this course is 24 months, or fast-track.

Training days run from Tuesday to Saturday (10am – 4pm)

Hairdressing NVQ Level 3

You already have your NVQ Level 2, or you have been working in the industry as a stylist and want to advance your skills and knowledge to a technical level.

This course will give you advanced technical skills and knowledge making you a specialist in your field, offering you many options from creative cutting, advanced technical colour, colour correction, hair extensions, photographic or competition work, marketing, advanced men's cutting, or even teaching.

You will receive the latest skills and techniques with the knowledge to pass your assessments the go towards completing your city & guilds NVQ hairdressing Level 3 diploma. “The technician specialising in an area of hair."
