Unit movements recently delivered furniture to my home. As part of this they trampled mud and motor oil all over my lounge carpet causing irreversible damage. The carpet was new, having been laid just days earlier, and is now completely ruined. I raised a complaint and they denied responsibility. When I offered to present witness statements and carpet receipts that would prove that it was their team that ruined the carpet they ignored my evidence and declared that by agreeing to have them deliver to my property I was accepting responsibility for any damage that they would cause. It was clear that their team were responsible for the stains but frankly they didn't care.
