Bog Standard Lessons

Super-strict driving instructors that get grumpy at learners who dont ''get it the first time'', and make lots of mistakes...well we are LEARNERS after all! They assume that you should know everything about a car even before driving, and dont really start off with explaining the basic foundations of driving (my instructor never told me about gears and left me to guess that you have to change back to gear 1 after stopping..very basic but at the age of 17 and nieve, how was i to know?) Pass rate wise, this is my 4th time sitting and i havent passed yet :S I learn with united and they are pretty pricey (£23 per hr) but i dont think their lessons are anything to write home about at all. They only take you on a few test routes and not all of them (why? we can be tested on any route in slough!). On some occasionals my driver drops me off 10 minutes early so i actually get 50 mins worth of driving instead an hour. His excuse is he's given me an ''intensive'' session so theres nothing more to practice...hmmm ok? :S Overall i'd rate their service 6.5/10. They are nice people who of course want you to pass, but at the end of the day i dont feel they do anything amazing that will help you any better than any other driving company. Many thanks.
