Total waste of time
Firstly went for a nail extension, the offer on Facebook was not correct and were charging more than they said online. I had to wait for my appointment too. I've received gel nails from them, I feel that some of the girls are not professionally trained and its just a Saturday job for some of them. Moving on, my mom went for half a leg wax. She found the beautician didnt wash her hands before hand and had just come off reception. The fact she fact she kept stiffing constantly was off putting and mum wanted to throw her a box of tissues. I then went for a spray tan for a wedding, I choose urban glow as they were only a fiver. It's Shown me you really do get what you pay for. The tan was ORANGE! I had become so dark the day after It was not natural. The room had no ventilation and was so small I had to stand so close to the wall to give her space to do the tan. Defiantly not what I expected. It stank of biscuit too, although I did get my money back, when I went in she did offer to spray tan me again, over my first tan. Any professional would know that it would come up badly.... I definitely will never return. I do hope people read this and review their experiences too. Oh and don't bother booking on Facebook, your oppointment is never noted and you will never be seen on time.

Rude manager
I have to agree with the last review. Awful!!! I had booked a paid for a groupon voucher for a pamper for my friends birthday. We followed the instructions booked on line, received a reminder email ... seemed like everything was ok. Got to the salon ... the 2 ladies working there look very confused when i presented the voucher , i would just like to add there was no one in the salon .. and they were not busy at all. She said we are not doing the Groupons .. and called her boss on the phone, Robin spoke to him for a while and passed him over to me. Well, what a horrible rude man! He did not say sorry in any way shape or form, just said get your money back from groupon .. I said this day had been arranged for months we were excited and looking forward to it .. that it was a birthday treat .. he did not care at all .. was just very rude to me. As you can imagine we are both disgusted, shocked and very disappointed our day was ruined. To be fair to the one girl, did say sorry on his behalf .. but I would never recommend this salon to anyone .. I could understand if they were busy... but they nothing to do .. they could of easily done the treatments we had paid for. A total disappointment ... shame on you!

Dreadful. Bought a Groupon - as did 100's of others evidently, only to be left a rude answerphone message (again, a familiar occurance) from the salon cancelling my appointments and ordering me to get a refund from Groupon. Total joke. It turns out the salon rather stupidly did not have a limit on the number of offers they were 'selling' and whilst they were happy to take our money and keep it for a few MONTHS, they knew they could not meet the demand in appointments and cancelled them all! Get your act together!

Awful salon
I never review salons or another business for that matter. However I felt that I simply must review Urban Glow in Boldmere. It is without doubt the worst customer service I have EVER received - not by the girls in the shop but by the manager. He is rude and very unprofessional to the point where he was actually quite aggressive.
