About Us

The idea to start VAGTUNE came about whilst Lee and Nick were working at the same garage, both had got to a point where they felt constrained by working for someone else and felt they couldn't further their careers or do things their way unless they started working for themselves. These two events sparked off the decision to start VAGTUNE, and plans were set in motion to investigate the feasibility of going it alone.

Lee and Nick between them have over 15 years experience of working in both the Dealership and Independent environments, and have gained a solid knowledge of cars from the VAG group - what makes them so special, and where the failings lie. They believe that this knowledge combined with the fact that, as a small company with overheads that are far lower than those of the main dealers, they can offeryou the customer more competitive rates whilst still bringing a high level of expertise, workmanship, and service. Added to this is the personal touch. When you bring your vehicle to VAGTUNE, you will be dealing with the person who will be working on your car, allowing them to cater for individual customer needs and requirements.
