Awful Service
Whether this place serves good food or not is neither here nor there. Point blank: the staff are awful. You'd think that with the beachfront location the owners at Vesuvio would want to encourage clientele to make the most of the restaurant and come back time and again, but obviously not. There are several reasons for this:The staff are mostly foreign and barely understand English; nor do they care when they don't understand their customers.They are quite happy to leave you waiting for up to an hour before they come and take your drink order, even when you have asked them repeatedly to do so.They are also happy to ask you to pay for your meal before you've had it (bear in mind that this is a proper sit down restaurant)If you are unhappy with the rude service and decide to complain, not only do they not do anything about it, but they actually argue with you.Avoid this place or regret it!
