I believe that the art of creating fantastic images is to connect with and to relax the people I am photographing. By making each session as fun as possible allows me to produce relaxed, natural and spontaneous images that can be cherished for years to come.
When shooting weddings I am certainly not a photographer that takes the bride and groom away for hours on end. I intend on giving them as much time celebrating with their family and friends as possible. My aim is to capture the day as the story unfolds without being noticed too much!
I have always taken photos, be it capturing fun family birthday celebrations or recording my 2 children's first steps. My previous working life started as an Event Manager, organising conferences and corporate events. This role has brought me huge insight into how events work and run, which of course helps with my wedding and corporate photography today.
I work mainly in London and Surrey, but can travel countrywide. I have photographed at many venues, including; London Zoo, Westminster Abbey, The Dorchester, The Great Eastern Hotel, Il Bottaccio, Caledonian Club, Pembroke Lodge, Chiswick House, Painshill Park, Cannizaro House, Woodlands House, Beauberry House....

Victoria is a lovely personable photographer. I was so nervous and she was so calm and reassuring. She didn't call out or shout at guests to do this or that she was assertive and took the most wonderful photos of the day. I thought they were worthy of a glossy magazine like the celebrity weddings you see. I also loved the choice of colour and black and white and she seemed to capture exactly the right expressions on mine and my husbands faces. The reportage shots of my guests were also fantastic and i have received so many wonderful compliments.

I was delighted with the outcome of a photo shoot for my daughter Georgia. Victoria Fawkes Photography was all the fundamentals one expects from an adept photographer, i.e. professional, high quality and proficient. What was the add-on and we enjoyed the most was how she connected with Georgia in order to get the great shots. The experience was a morning of fun and games. This without doubt delivered some great natural and stunning shots – some of the best we've had of Georgia, I hasten to add. The shots now unsurprisingly adorn our home. We continue to get compliments and enquiries, which is a mark of a job well done. I therefore without hesitation recommend Victoria Fawkes.

We cannot recommend Victoria Fawkes Photography highly enough. Victoria photographed our daughter's Christening, and was able to capture the most beautiful photos of the occasion. She worked well with all the children and made everybody feel relaxed while she produced the most wonderful shots. We are really happy with our beautiful photos that we can treasure forever. We highly recommend Victoria for any special occasion.
