My car went in for an insurance damaged caused by someone using the boot and roof as a tampoline. All the damage was highlighted to the estimator when he reviewed the car. I picked the car up whilst it was sat under spotlights and paid the £250 excess. I pointed out at the time that they had missed scratches on the roof above the door, the scratches to the wiper arms hadn't been touched and in addition there was a new scratch to the front bumper. The next day in the day light I also found numerous new scratches to the off side flank, to the near side boot lid and the boot light no longer worked. So basically the car was damaged whilst in their workshop and the electrics not reconnected. The car was rebooked and collected. I pointed out that I needed my car back for the weekend (long story but my bike rack only fits to a metal boot and their 107 is glass) I then had to chase them about what was happening (do they accept liability for the additional damage, will it be fixed etc) I've just been told that my car will not be ready, therefore my weekend going away cycling with friends is cancelled, no apologies until pointed out that I thought I was due one. Seriously fed up with the inconvenience this is causing. It should have been a simple insurance job. Words of advice, if you do use them, collect the car in day light, take photos of all your car before it goes in and don't pay a penny until you've examined everything, not just the repair

Arranged a private (non insurance repair) with WBC to paint up a scraped bumper and wing. Was told it was 3 days work, quoted a reasonable price and told they were pretty quiet so it could be done whenever suits. As I was away the following week I booked in to coincide to minimise inconvenience of not having a car. When dropping off I checked it would be ready to collect on the Saturday morning - told that would be no problem. Saturday comes and I call to arrange a time to collect and I'm told it's not ready. And that the lady on reception doesn't know why, and there's noone there who can help. Her directors didn't return her messages to try and resolve the issue. Many calls later to chase and eventually having to call the estimations numbers to get through to someone I get a call back telling me that: "It's taken longer than expected" "Rusty bolts have slowed things down" "One of the guys had to go home with heart trouble" "It wasn't on the system that it had to be collected at the weekend" "It's taken a fair amount more work than we quoted for" "I don't answer the phone at weekends - I was on the beach" Apparently I may get to see it later today - only 4 hours later than we were supposed to be driving it off on holiday. Even if they've done the best repair job in the world on the car when I'm eventually reunited I wouldn't recommend this shambolic customer care to my worst enemy.

My car went in and came out two shades of blue! Also left strip on the car widscreen had not even been finished painted. Also the lady behind me also had the same problem.. A man in reception had been waiting over 90 minutes for his car. And when you request a loan car in which I paid extra for in my insurance, it had been like I ask for her front teeth! Awful place. A place where you kept hanging arond for a shabby job and where the reception area is old and dirty. Staff in reception also needs to learn some manners. Thom EvansNo tea or coffee facilities, that work.
