Our long experience in the sales and lettings industry has shown us that the way in which buyers and tenants search for property has changed. Most people simply do not trudge around estate agents offices walking out with handfuls of particulars. We believe the High Street office has become almost superfluous to the whole process.

With the challenging economic climate over the last few years, value for money has become even more important, especially when moving home. What our clients want to see is a great service at a more reasonable price. With some High Street rents over £30,000 per annum, some agents have to sell a lot of properties to merely pay the bills. Our experience has shown that this can lead to a lack of personal service and communication - one of the biggest complaints made about all estate agents. At Stephanie Macnab, we are free from the shackles and expenses of High Street premises meaning that our fees are generally lower than you might expect from a 'traditional' agent.

In establishing Stephanie Macnab Estate Agents, we wanted to create a fresh new approach to the estate agency business, working from a web base means that we can devote our time and attention to you the client, providing a bespoke and personal service, not constrained by operating a 9.00-5.30 estate agency office. Our philosophy remains that if you have a burning question or need to discuss the final arrangements for your move at 6 o'clock on a Sunday evening, pick up the phone and give us a call, don't wait until Monday morning when the 'office' opens.

From our website and photography, to our individually prepared property particulars, we wanted to create something visually stimulating, something to capture the imagination of those looking for a new home. Its called working a little bit harder for the client, something that we at Stephanie Macnab are passionate about. Poor service and high fees have marred the image of the estate agency profession. That can change, starting with a wealth of experience, a dedication to great customer satisfaction, a professionalism embracing traditional values and a focus on providing a modern, cost effective, bespoke quality service.

We are a husband and wife team, we have worked in property all of our adult lives, with a combined experience of over 40 years.

Stephanie started working in Maghull dealing with lettings and management before moving to Southport to head up the lettings department for the largest agent in Southport. From there she moved throughout the group offices gained more and more experience in sales, lettings and customer service. Latterly she became to trouble shooter for poor performing offices. Knowing how not to provide a service is a useful tool when striving to provide excellent customer service.

Stephanie has been working in Southport and Formby since 2006 managing the largest office in Southport and twin satellite offices, overseeing both sales and lettings. This combined with her earlier experience has given her excellent local knowledge in all market conditions, good and bad.

When Steph and Simon were married in May 2011 they decided that the time was right for a change, a new business venture to tie in with their new life as a married couple and so Stephanie Macnab Estate Agents was born.

Stephanie's husband Simon Wall is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and had recently formed a new company providing professional and commercial property expertise following over 23 years experience in commercial property and heading up one of the region's largest firms of chartered surveyors, valuers, estate agents, auctioneers and property managers.
