My fav bar in Notts!
This is, in my opinion, one of the best bars in Nottingham. Relaxed and unpretentious the Wax Bar offers a comfortable place to have a few drinks at any time of the day or night! The bar is only small and can get quite busy in the evening, but always seems to attract mid twenties crowd.Always popular is the 2 for £5 offer on listed cocktails and I've whiled away several hours enjoying the relaxing mix of music and atmosphere. The staff have always been friendly and even deliver drinks to your table when it's quiet.I like the funky light that shimmers on the ceiling, always wanted to know how it works, but it looks like a wavy shimmer of light and water.

A little expensive but still good
good mix of music, from motown to funk to Bowie. Warm, relaxed atmosphere with a good range of people. Drinks are a little overpriced but worth it.
