Our Restaurants are amongst the most popular restaurants in Norfolk with customers drawn from local residents and regular visitors to the Norfolk Broads alike. The Restaurants provide interesting and innovative menus which often change on a daily basis and offer high standards of cuisine.

All 15 rooms are en-suite, most of them with both bath and shower and equipped with Teletext Colour Television, Direct dial Telephone, Radio, Hairdryer, Trouser press and Tea and Coffee making facilities. Most of the rooms are river facing and are arranged on both ground floor and first floor levels.

The Hotel Bistro and A` la Carte Restaurant offer perhaps the best choice of dining facilities in the area under one roof, providing a choice of dining styles to suit most requirements.

The Bistro fronts onto the Patio with its views of the river and has a more informal style. The Bistro menu is very comprehensive and features a wide range of interesting and reasonably priced dishes together with a daily speciality list.

The A` la Carte Restaurant overlooks the Hotel Gardens and offers a more elegant style of dining and service for that special occasion.
Both restaurants are popular with guests and locals alike and offer a selection of fresh local seafood and Charcoal grill specialities. The menus in both restaurants are complemented by a carefully chosen selection of wines from around the world. Imaginative vegetarian dishes are always available and we are pleased to cater for those guests requiring special diets.

Our function room is an ideal venue for parties up to 50 persons and is well equipped with conference aids for meetings and seminars.

The hotel can offer a variety of amenities on site to guests including bicycle, rowing boat and fishing tackle hire. Coarse fishing in season, on the River Ant is also available. For those visitors wishing to explore the Broads we are just upriver from Barton Broad where Nelson is reputed to have learnt to sail.
