Repair leaking roof valleys
The same contractor, working concurrently as North East Roofing Ltd, attempted to repair leaking roof valleys on four occasions but leaks continued immediately with each following rain. On his final visit the contractor purposely left my roof unprotected. The work needed to be completely redone by another contractor. On removing the lead it was inferior quality to that stated within guarantee. The company admitted their mistakes and promised a full refund, both verbally and in writing. Subsequently the company refused to provide any refund. On threat of legal action a partial refund was offered. This was refused and full refund was subsequently offered and accepted. Despite confirming in writing several times that a full refund would be provided this was not done within timescale promised. Company again not communicating so legal action now being arranged again. Dishonest, untrustworthy and incapable of completing basic roofing tasks. For your own peace of mind, do not employ this contractor.

Repair leaking roof valleys
The same contractor, working concurrently as North East Roofing Ltd, was contracted to repair leaking roof valleys. Following completion it rained the next day and the leaks were worse. They attempted to repair the problem on 3 further separate occasions and on each occasion the roof leaked immediately the next time it rained. The company admitted their mistakes and promised a full refund, both verbally and in writing. On last visit purposely left roof tile misplaced but promised to return to replace it. Did not do so, leaving roof unprotected overnight and requiring another contractor to be called the next day. Refund has not been received. Legal action is being taken. Independent roofers have confirmed the problems were caused by new lead being fitted over old lead and the new lead being too narrow, too short & incorrectly fitted. Also attempted repair of lead which was beyond repair. The work needs to be completely redone. Incapable of completing basic roofing tasks and untrustworthy.
