Adequate windows, terrible bodged messy installation. The windows do the job but don’t insulate as well as I would have hoped both in terms of heat and noise. We still get condensation on the insides and can still hear road noise. Perhaps I just expect too much! I have been round nearly every window trimming off excess pvc and rubber seals which were left untidily, and in my opinion should have been sorted at manufacture or installation. The real issue was the installation. Roy’s “top men” made a mess of every room in my house. They left bits of broken glass on bedroom floors, including a crawling 1 year olds room; stomped silicone sealant into brand new carpets and down the hallway; left scratches and dents in every window sill; caused (in my opinion) excessive damage to the plaster around the windows and then applied filler to a very low standard; left grimy fingerprints and dirty cloth wipes on every window surround; and a layer of brick dust all over the kitchen sink and worktops. Outside the mess continued. They cut pvc cladding on my drive without dust sheets and it looked like it had snowed; left nails all over the drive which we pointed out to them whilst they were still on site, they said they’d clean up, and didn’t, forcing us to park on the road until the weekend when we could clean up their mess; and managed to hit other parts of my house with ladders damaging paint and woodwork. I collected a good shovel full of pvc, wood, nails and glass from my garden and driveway. The fitters attempted to remove the silicone from the carpets with solvent, but you can still see it. The Company offered to put right the other problems, but having seen their standard of workmanship, I don’t want them anywhere near my house. I’ve spent a good couple of days picking up mess, washing, filling, and re-painting after these bodgers. Since the installation I have discovered incorrect parts stuck on with silicone sealant, and have given up hope of them fixing a problem with an incorrect night vent which they have been back to look at 5 times.
