This is your special day. You will desire a cake that matches your theme and is a stunning work of art. You will also want it to taste delicious. I will design and decorate a spectacular wedding cake for you.

I will discuss your ideas and provide an estimated cost for you as a guideline from your initial enquiry. I provide a free consultation to design your cake as part of the cost that is shown in the pricing section. Please send or bring any photos, website addresses, fabric samples, jewellery or any other items that will help me understand your wishes at the consultation. I can make traditional and contemporary cakes.

Tiers for wedding cakes can be different flavours and I can also make cakes for special dietary requirements.

Birthday Cakes

Birthday and Novelty Cakes.

The only limitation for a birthday cake is your imagination and of course the price! Birthdays are very special for both children and adults and they become more individual if they reflect an interest or something that is personal to the recipient. Cakes can be square or round with modelling in icing to reflect these interests. They can also be 3D and become totally fantasy or novelty cakes. For such cakes, I will give you a final price for your cake following a consultation (telephone, e mail or in person, as you prefer) prior to making the cake. There will be no hidden costs. Cakes can be made to cater for any specific dietary requirements so everyone, especially the birthday person, can enjoy the cake.

Wedding Anniversary Cakes.

A time for celebration every year! These cakes can be made traditionally, incorporating the anniversary material theme and/or the colour of the anniversary but they can be made as contemporary cakes, including the famous wonky cake. If the occasion is large, I suggest a tiered cake. However, sometimes a ‘kitchen' cake is used to ensure that all guests have a piece of cake if the decorated cake will not be large enough. A ‘kitchen' cake is a cake that is not put on display and is therefore only covered with a plain coat of icing, and is served as cut pieces.

Naming, Christening and Other Religious Occasions

These can be made to reflect the religion and of course the gender of the child or children involved. Some clients prefer traditional cakes and some prefer those that are contemporary and may include some humour. Whatever you require, the cake I will provide for this special day will be as requested by yourself to delight. If the occasion is large, I suggest a tiered cake.
