About us

I have 18 years experience working in the NHS full time in community clinics, nurseries, schools and hospitals. I am now able to offer independent therapy, while continuing part time work in a local NHS trust. In the NHS I combine my individual work with leading a team of speech and language therapists.

I specialise in two key areas:

Working with children of all ages with a range of speech, language and communication problems
I believe in delivering effective, high quality, evidence based therapy for children.

Working with stammering (stuttering)
From prevention in very young children to working with established stammers in children and adults of all ages.
I have been the lead therapist for the treatment of stammering at 3 NHS Trusts and I have trained at:
The Michael Palin Centre for Stammering Children
The Stammer Support Centre, Leeds
The City Lit in London who run specialist courses for adults who stammer
I am a member of The British Stammering Association, and fully trained in a number of evidence based approaches including The Lidcombe Programme for children who stammer.
