Save your time, money, and stress and buy elsewhere

My husband and I purchased a 3-bedroom apartment at the Denham, Uxbridge location, and have been living in it for 2 months now. We have had a nightmare of an experience and are close to seeking legal action. We bought the place as it was being developed basing our decision on the high standards of the show homes and the customer service. How we wish we could turn back time. Our apartment finished 3 1/2 months later than it should have and here are some examples of the so-called "high quality" Weston Homes has left us with: the wood floors are warped; they are so un-level that we cannot fit our wine chiller in a spot we paid them £400 to leave between our cabinets. We now have to decide whether to tear out our granite countertops and have them raised so it fits or get a smaller wine chiller and have a gap. The floors are of such cheap quality that the tiniest impact will leave a scratch. There were scratches on every fixture in our masterbath and many scatches on those in our other bathrooms. White paint dripped onto our wooden beams, towel racks, and our spiral staircase. Also, if you try to wipe dirt off the wall, it takes the paint off with the dirt! There are cracks in the walls next to some of the beams, which makes us wonder how safe they are. There was dirt and stains in our cream carpets, so they had to replace them. The list goes on and on. Our apartment is beautiful, but behind the scenes it is a mess and we worry about the faults we have not yet discovered.
