Back in 1979, Wheelbase was born as a partner business to the Walton Lodge Garage Volkswagen Audi main dealer. When the garage closed a decade later, we moved to our present site here at Hersham in the heart of Surrey. From here, we provide a choice of quality, presented, nearly new and used Volkswagen and Audi models.

Right at the start, our Wheelbase owner Colin Marshall was technician already immersed in the work he most enjoyed: tuning, servicing and remodelling a wide range of both Audi and Volkswagen. By the mid-nineties, he had assumed ownership of the business, and began steering it towards an acknowledged position as Surrey's leading independent Volkswagen and Audi dealership.

We are now a committed team of nine. As well as the vital sales and admin functions, the majority work on the technical side, further enhancing the Wheelbase reputation for MOT, servicing, maintenance, repair, remapping, and remodelling work. We operate to the highest industry standards, and are always so pleased when customers trust us again and again when choosing and maintaining their VW or Audi. Indeed, many refer their family, friends or work colleagues to us as well.
