Filing an official complaint

This has been the worst experience. DON'T! This man shouldn't be a teacher (coming from a teacher's perspective), especially to young people who actually could get traumatised by his behaviour. I am filing for an official complaint at the DVSA. We started out fine, but a few lessons in Gary started to communicate aggressively and make lots of sexist jokes. I coped with the situation, because I thought he was just "quirky". During the course of the last few months, my partner now and then asked me what we had been doing in the lessons and he was questioning certain things, about his attitude/language and way of teaching , but also about the curriculum (or the lack thereof) itself (like not even explaining to keep my feet still when I reached the bite, etc). I noted his concerns but kept on going with the lessons because I felt like I should be able to trust my instructor. His behaviour caused more and more stress. At one point I felt like I had to address in a reasonable matter that his approach triggered me and caused a lot of stress. The conversation seemed to have gone well. The next lesson, two weeks before my test, he didn't show up for my second to last (3 hour) driving lesson. Once I got a hold of him, he said he texted me to tell me that he didn't want to teach me anymore because I had been "rude" and had been "driving too fast". Conveniently, the message "hadn't gone through". I know for a fact that his actions are a repercussion for my confrontation. I lost a lot of money, as he is an expensive instructor and I now am with empty hands. I am posting this review to prevent this from happening again to other people.
