Well i joined Hagley surgery under Dr Hyde after leaving the Army through Medical Discharge 2010. Reason for Medical Discharge damaged lower back causing sciatic nerve damage and pain and degenerative arthritis. I was living with my grandmother in Hagley while trying to start my civilian life. Well now to the problems i have had with this Surgery>>> In 2012 i went to Dr Hyde complaining of extreme back and sciatic pain, unable to stand straight or walk, sit, sleep without excessive pain, so i asked for a referral to a back clinic as the pain killers did not work effectively. The Back clinic did not feel they needed to see me upon receiving the referral from Dr Hyde, and suggested i be seen by a physio . So i went to a physio and they sent me for a MRI scan due to the excessive pain and not being able to stand straight. Well after the MRI they found out that my L4/5 discs had ruptured into my sciatic nerve and i would need surgery to repair them. 9 months and many Gabapentin, Diclofenac and Tramadol at max dosage due to the pain i was in oh a trip to AE due to further rupturing. repeated trips back and forth from Hagley Surgery for medication and unappropriated attitude, questioning from one of their older female members of staff I manage to get booked into surgery with a lovely Mr Thompson Who said he was surprised with how much pain and how much he had to remove from my discs. during all this i had moved and explained this to Dr Hyde that i am still going through a War Disablement Pension review and would it be ok if i stayed with his surgery till this review is over, two weeks later i get a letter through the door asking me to leave his surgery. All i all due to the lax and inappropriate actions from Mr Hyde and one other member of staff my pain was prolonged and worsened
