Mediocre service. There was a limited selection on the drinks menu. The salad bar spoons were covered in food meaning that everytime you picked them up you got covered in dressing. The starters were ok but don't order the squid - it's chewy. The main courses arrived about 45 minutes after we had finished the starters. Mysc#mpi was overcooked and powdery and the tartar sauce had a film on the top. Three people ordered steak (of which there is a large selection on the menu) and the only mustard available was "french american" mustard. No english, dijon or grainy - a bit strange for a restaurant that offers so much steak! Medium steaks were ordered and well done steaks arrived. The cutlery was dirty there was food all over the floor under the table - overall - don't bother, there are plenty of better restaurants in the area with competative prices!

Myself and my parents went to the Windhover last weekend for lunch on a Saturday. It was easy to get a table and we were offered one outside if we wanted but turned it down as it was a little windy that day. The grounds are well maintained and it looks a lot better since the recent refurbishment. The meal offers for lunch were great and I left feeling very satisfied with what I had had and the price I had paid. The food was great value for money and very filling as well as being tasty. Would recommend to anyone for a nice lunch.

We had a delicious meal at Windhover Manor. Our waiter Shane was extremely polite and helpful. He found out the answers to a couple of questions about the food, was able to deal with a special request, checked that we were happy and enjoying the meal. The menu offered a good selection of choices including special deals for 2 or 3 courses and vegetarian options. The fish and chips was a generously sized meal and well worth the money. The restaurant has been refurbished and is maintained nicely with flowers outside and a large car park.
