Great View
The best thing about the Windows restaurant has to be the view. It looks over the majestic rooftops of Glasgow and you are almost transported somewhere else. The decor and service are pretty good too, and the pre-theatre menu well priced. It's a shame really that the food doesn't live up to its surroundings. It is a bit plain and boring, and you are harshly reminded that this is a restaurant in a hotel and has a bit of a captive audience. Despite its great location near Queen St station I will not be visiting again, there are much better options nearby.
