Excellent food at Wine and Mousaka

We visited wine and mousaka on saturday - to discover that they have a Greek celebrity chef. The dips are fantastic and home made. I had Ktipiti and a Fava dip. Dips that are not available in supermarkets. I had the Sea Bass and my wife had Kleftiko. The food was excellent. It cost me about £70 with a bottle of Pouilly Fume. Having been a regular of Greek restaurants throughout London as it is my fav cuisine. It is worth visiting. Being Greek myself - I know what is authentic and what is not - this is a true representation of Greek cuisine. I experienced the opposite from the last reviewer - unless we are talking about two different restaurants.

Expensive and below average.

An unfair representation of what Greek food is all about. How they have remained in business is a mystery.Portions are not not exactly generous, the majority of the mezedes starters taste as if they are from packages not uncommonly found in supermarkets. They do the typical kleftiko which in no way resembles fresh or well cooked lamb.Overpriced, uninspiring and poor quality. To the management: buck up your ideas!
