This all started in August. This instructor was recommended to me by a friend so i felt i had no reason not to trust her. I wanted the fast track course as i was beginning my driving in November when i had the money and I wanted to get it all done before the bad weather began. She told me that when i am ready to start lessons, the fast track course it £640, which i felt wasn't too bad. She stated that will take me up to my driving test and i fail that she would help me until i passed. Fast forward to November 28th which is the day i began my lessons. I did 2 hours, monday to friday for 8 days which works out to 16 hours. After the last lesson on Friday, she told me that i need to pay more money to continue with my lessons. an additional £420 for a further 15 hours and £896 to practise on complex roads. she said she also needed the payment by Monday so that we dont have to stop between lessons. I was shocked and horrified. I asked her where all this was coming from as we had never discussed more payment on this course. She told me that she would never charge that cheap to take me up to my driving test. I told her that I can't pay an additional £640, i would never have agreed to that. who pays £640 for 16 hours? I told her that she is going to have to keep teaching me like she stated until i was ready for my test. I told her we will tAlk about it later as i had to go to work. She had the cheek to try and make me look i misunderstood what she said. She has been ringing and texting me like crazy wanting me to pay more and do more with her. I looked her up online and found out that she is a one woman company, it's her own business and she is the only instructor in that driving school of hers and her secretary is her sister. Anyway i trusted her as she was recommended by a friend but it turns out that my friend didn't end up going with her as her prices were too inflated. ********Do not trust her or he so called company, she's a crook and this is a SCAM!****** ******Does anyone now how i can go bout getting my money back? She said her lessons are £22 pay as you go which means she owes me 13hours or £290 But then again i paId for a fast track which she said would take me up to my practical driving test. So she is not holding up her end of the bargain. I don't have a signed contract. All i have is a receipt, my track record booklet which has all the lessons i took. she also has a record of the lessons i took which are signed.
