Wong Wong;s Bakery

This is a very popular bakery with a large selection of freshly baked goods, including buns, cakes and pastries. Located in China town, it is very popular amongst the Chinese locals who frequent China town often. It sells traditional Chinese buns and pastries that can be found in China, HK and Macau, although it must be said that there is a clear difference between bakeries in the UK and those internationally, this is of course to be expected.On the wall near the counter, you can find many different types of cakes that you can order for special occasions. These are the standard Chinese cakes which predominantly use fruit instead of icing for example. The price is not displayed, so you will have to ask if you want to order. The shop itself has a seating area and it doesn't cost anything more to eat in than eat out unlike Starbucks, Caffe Nero and many other places. They also offer a student discount, which is about 10%, but the goods offered by the bakery are very affordable either way, so even if you don't have student ID with you, unless buying in bulk, you won't be missing out on too much.
