Bloody attrocious rip-off
On the strength of an glowing review on Touchlocal by a reviewer claiming to be a customer named "Leah M." I chose this florist on Valentine's day. It turns out I made a very big mistake. A little research reveals that Leah M corresponds to the name and initial of the proprietor. You work it out... I ordered a simple bunch of a dozen pink roses, for which I stung for 40 pounds plus 4 delivery (to a very local address). Not too bad I thought, given Valentine's is heyday for all florists. However, I saw the flowers that had been delivered in the afternoon with my own eyes that very same evening. Instead of a dozen there were 11 (which could have been human error), the majority of which were already cracked and brown at the edges (which is plain bad product). As a customer paying 40 quid I expect to be provided reasonable quality, not to be palmed of with ragged leftovers just because it's a 'phone order. In this instance service I received definitely did not achieve the standard I thought I was paying for.

Woods florist pride ourselves in delivering only the freshest flowers available at all times. All orders are treated equally whether made over the telephone internet or in person. Woods florist only learned of your grievance with us via these reviews, we welcome you to call us here at the shop and we will do our very best to put this situation right. As we would have immediately, had we been given the opportunity at the time. Once again Woods Florist offer our sincere apologies that our flowers did not meet your expectations on this occasion.

Excellent quality and service.
I have just purchased my 3rd bouquet of flowers from Wood's florist in Epsom and am very happy with the quality of the flowers, the manner of the staff in the shop and their customer service standards are second to none. Upon very short notice they went out of their way to deliver flowers for the birthday of a very forgetful son's mother. I can thoroughly recommend Wood,s as I have already and will continue to do so.
