Disgusting People
So I get married in August. So last November I ordered my bridal dress/lengha from this shop. Told it would arrive in April. So April arrived, abit concerned in regards to why it had already by this point taken 6 months as no-one else in Southall, B'ham, Manchester or Bradford quoted this amount of time. Was told it had a date on 20/04/2013 so called again on 24th told it hadn't arrived and would call me when arrived. Can't collect on weekend, okay so I will collect on Bank holiday monday 6th May. Still hadn't heard so I called explained I needed outfit for 1st June for my wedding trials and so I could have matching stuff made etc. Anyways he said after a two hour wait for response yes its arrived and will be ready for me to collect on Monday. So I had ordered a red dress with blue borders. Arrived at the shop gave my order number they couldn't find, asked colours I explained red and blue. Took a red and blue dress I said straight away it wasn't mine (different design) she then took out a red and maroon and left having taken my receipt. About 20 mins later she came back and explained a mistake had been made obviously and the wrong colour arrived. It would be sent back for replacement to be made, I asked if I could try on first etc. She said no, I said well I don't need any more issues so I want to try it on, (At this point this women was appologetic and nice). Anyways I tried it on and it was big, so I asked in regards to when to expect replacement and blah, she said 1st June. Again I explained I need it before then etc and you can't give me a date of when I need it, she said I only work here, owners not here let me get the other girl for you. This girl came over with a ton of attitude and like a "and what, who cares, oh well" sort of attitude. She said take it off and I will get it done for you in a couple of weeks can't give you a date and come out and I will size you up again, this peice will go back and all that will happen is they will remove this border and put that one on. So I got changed and came out waited for her and nothing, waited and waited and nothing. The original girl came and said whats happened all sorted (what are you still doing here). Explained and then couldn't help but break down in tears. By which time the owner came, she was very nice and apologetic in regards to wrong colour etc, did my sizing then tried to excuse herself. Hold on I thought to myself you stilll haven't sorted this out. Anyways she tried to convince me to keep it how it is and I tried it on again and kindly said no. I want what I had ordered, then she just changed she said she needed to make a call, and came back and said she had spoken to makers in India and I had requested the change and I need to appreciate it as its now not going to be changed etc. Two hours into walking into shop, something that could have been done and sorted in half an hour, was still going on as they kept walking away to new customers rather than sorting the one they had. Anyways a long while after the owner being nasty refusing to deal with me etc her son stepped in and said he would sort it. If I order red and blue and expect red and blue, you admit your mistake then how the hell would it all of a sudden change to red and maroon and then me being responsible for change, especially when nothing was ever discussed etc nor did I call them until April regarding this. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE, PAY MORE FOR BETTER SERVICE!!
