My first visit to Yamas was a pleasant experience. I went with my partner for the 3 tapas for £6.95 deal. The selection of dishes is excellent, the service was friendly and the portions were very generous! My highlight was the anazing feta salad; and the only slight drawback was that the hummus didn't taste homemade & I expected it to be a more unique recipe. However, everything was still delicious and I'd definitely go back again.

I'm afraid i didnt enjoy my visit; having chosen the mezzine option for our large party the food took quite some time to appear after the initial service; the quality of the dishes was very mixed; some fine but others rather poor especially the meat dishes (very tough) The level of service was not great; I got asked once in four hours if I wanted to order a drink (on arrival) I think part of the problem was an even bigger party was seated nearby and possibly the staff were hard pressed. The high level of noise from this roudy group didnt help either.

Went for dinner mid week with friends. Service was excellent, the atmosphere was cosy and relaxed. the food was beautiful! I would even go as far as to say that many of the dishes were better than i had tasted in greece itself. I would definately recommend!

Went there tonight. Thoght we'd try the place as I have not been to many greek restaurants. What a mistake. The place had no atmosphere, except for the waiter / owner leering at us. The starters menu is mainly just dips and then on top of that you have to buy pitta separately. The rest of the food was badly cooked and overprice. Needless to say we won't be returning!

Being a great lover of greek food and the hospitality offered by the greek people, this is as authentic as anything experienced in the great country itself. We love this restaurant and every thing it offers...especially the atmosphere and wonderfully warm welcome. With such great variety especially as a vegatarian, it really is a treat to be albe to visit your favourite restaurant and not have to eat the same 3 or 4 meals available. We have become regulars to this beautifull restaurant and i would strongly recomend that others consider doing the same.

Nice place; busy but not overcrowded with excellent menu and friendly service. Good value and something to suit everyone in the family. Close to the shopping centre and easy to find. Would happily recommend to anyone looking for good Greek food and a relaxed atmosphere.

Delicious, one of best meals I have had in years. The food was well cooked and of a fantastic standard. The whole restaurant was well presented and had an authentic atmosphere with friendly staff to boot. I will definitely be back and will no doubt be recommending this to others.

We visited Yamas for the first time last month, fantastic service, wonderful tasting authentic food which isn't expensive and great atmosphere. What more could you ask for? I will definitely be back and I would have no hesitation in recommending Yamas as a first rate class restaurant in Nottingham and as one of the best I have ever dined at.

As a regular visit to this restaurant I can thoroughly recommend the food as I have tried almost everything on their menu. Always fresh and piping hot, the food is authentic and served by people who genuinely know what exceptional customer service is. Whether you're looking for a lunch or evening meal, all the elements of the menu are value for money and won't cost the earth. Every time I visit, can't find fault with this establishment.

I have been to Yamas with my partner and with groups of friends and we've never been disappointed yet. The food is always freshly cooked and after a meal of three tapas each and a glass or two of wine we usually leave with contented smiles. The service is always personable and it's a good place to take vegetarian friends.

We only live across the road and had watched the property being transformed into the greek tapas restaurant which it now is! We were interested because we love greek food and so went there in its first week. Michael and his father are very welcoming and the food is so fresh and delicious - we have become regulars! Can definitely recommend all the food - especially the dolmades! Can't speak highly enough of Yamas - you have to try it (it will make you think you're back in Greece at a taverna!!)

Id passed Yamas a week or so prior to booking a tabel for 4 for my birthday. The resturant had looked inviting. Once we arrived I was not dissapointed, the staff were very friendly, the food was excellent and the cost was small. I would reccomend everyone to try this wonderful little place before you have to book a month in advance to get a tabel! we will certainly be going back soon.

We had tried to book another tapas restaurant for bank holiday Saturday but all were booked up so after seeing an advert in FHP we got the number of Yamas- what a lovely place! The food was Greek orientated with other med style dishes thrown in- we ordered 7 dishes for the two of us (plenty for 2 v hungry people) and had a couple of greek beers each- it was just like being on holiday! The service was great- attentive but not over the top, the food was all well cooked and tasted authentic- all for an very reasonble price- we will definately visit again soon!
