About Us.

Welcome to Yorkshire Children's Trust, a small registered charity based just outside the centre of Halifax. The charity was set up by parents of families who have children suffering with cancer in the hope of helping other families in similar difficult circumstances.

We offer financial assistance to families with long term sick or disabled children in all four corners of the Yorkshire region. These grants can be used to pay for medical treatment or equipment, hospital travel costs, essential home modifications or a short family holiday for not just the disabled child, but mum, dad and any siblings too.

Although we work closely with the Disabled Children's Team at Social Services to ensure we help the most deserving families, we do not receive any government, lottery or NHS funding.

We cannot provide this essential financial assistance without people just like YOU! - No matter what you can afford to donate, be it a one off or regular donation, you can be sure that your money is helping families on a local community level.
