40mm Triple Glazed Windows:

The energy efficiency and sound proofing of a 40mm triple glazed window are dramatically improved when adding in an extra pane of glass and increasing the gap between the panes of glass. When the gap is increased larger warm edger spacer bars are used and more argon gas is filled between the panes thus further improving the energy efficiency of the window.
The 40mm glass unit used on this triple glazed window consists of three 4mm panes of glass with two 14mm warm edge spacer bars. 40mm sealed units achieves a U Value of 0.8W/m2K
