About Us

We are a small local group of tutors providing one-to-one tuition in the Melton area (we also have a few tutors in Nottingham and Leicester). Our tutors specialise in one or more of Maths, Sciences or English at Key Stages 1 to 3, GCSE and/or A-level. Our website has full details about all of our services and a contact page.

Our Tutors

A good tutor can be hard to find, especially in the absence of word-of-mouth recommendation, but we aim to make finding a good tutor easier by working with only the very best. We take great care in selecting our tutors and only accept about 10% of those who apply. Our tutors must exhibit an extensive knowledge of their chosen subjects, excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for helping children learn. All of our tutors are CRB checked so that our clients can have peace-of-mind.

Boosting Confidence

One-to-one tuition provides an ideal environment for students to explore their subjects without the worry of peer pressure, and the parents and teachers of less confident children often comment after just a few tutorials that the child is already more confident at school.

Improving Grades

Our tutors work with tutees to help them understand their subjects but also place a heavy emphasis of revision technique and exam technique so that tutees can maximise their potential in their exams. We have found that most of our tutees can easily gain at least one grade in their exams by simply improving their exam technique!

A Range of Options for ALL Budgets

We offer long-term tuition for students who require ongoing help with their studies, but also offer a variety of short-term tuition courses to help students improve their revision technique and exam technique or to prepare them for new courses at school. We also offer a limited number of pro-bono slots for students are hard-working and would benefit from private tuition but are simply unable to afford it.
