Terrible customer service

We recently went to a wedding and were quoted 16 pound for a taxi home. The barstaff ordered our taxi and we waited for 25 minutes even though we were quoted 10 mins.after the taxi turned up we were tken on a ridiculous detor and ended up having about twenty five pounds in the meter despite only being five mins down the road. Luckily my partner knows the area and questioned the drivers directions, he then got extremely angry when we said we would refuse to pay the crazy price he was asking, he then kicked us out of the taxi after we had offered a reasonable amount to cover the cost. He got very irate and angry and i actually became quite scared. I understand that there may have been a lack of communication between the taxi and the bar staff but we were quite willing to pay the difference but after the rude taxi man i would deffinately not recommend this service to anyone!!!!
