A Touch of Silk is a small, independent Cheshire based wedding and event planning company founded by Jodie Billington. A Touch of Silk is a company dedicated to helping couples plan their perfect wedding day. Our aim is to guide couples through the wedding planning process making it as enjoyable, stress and worry free as possible. We can assist you in all aspects of planning your perfect day from sourcing your dream venue to coordinating the day of your event. Hiring a wedding planner does not have to break the bank, in fact we pride ourselves on creating your dream wedding to suit your budget and even saving you money. A Touch of Silk Weddings works with wedding professionals in all areas to make sure your day is the best it can be. A Touch of Silk is based in Congleton but covers wedding planning in Cheshire and beyond.

Jodie - "I have always had a passion for events so becoming a wedding planner meant I could do what I loved everyday. I understand how precious a couple's wedding day is and I want to help them achieve their dream day. I am here to make a bride and groom's wedding planning experience easy, exciting and most importantly, stress free."

Jodie started her wedding planning journey just over 2 years ago when she began planning a variety of different events for friends and family. She has experience working in not just events but a variety of areas in the wedding industry including a prestigious Cheshire wedding venue, a bridal shop and a wedding shoe specialist customising brides shoes for their big day.

Her background has largely been in Sales and Marketing, having graduated with a 4 year university degree in Fashion Promotion. She went on to study Wedding Planning with The Blackford Centre of Professional Wedding Planners where she continues to train today.
