Abbey Gardens are a small garden design and construction company based in Kilwinning and founded in 2012 by Shaun Dowse.

The business was formed in Glasgow city centre and named Glasgow Green Landscapes, with the majority of contracts undertaken throughout the greater Glasgow areas such as Renfrew, Gartcosh, East Kilbride, and Paisley. The business was re-named Abbey Gardens in July 2013 upon relocating to a new home in Kilwinning with the aim of securing more locally based contracts. We are very proud to be asked to undertake contracts or design work for locations much further afield.

Prior to setting up on his own, Shaun has spent all of his working life learning how to construct interesting outdoor spaces. He began labouring for his father's landscaping business Mikraft Landscapes as soon as he could hold a shovel. Based in Ayrshire, and working weekends whilst at school, Shaun quickly developed a hard working attitude and ability to work just as easily on his own as with a large team of skilled workers.

Abbey Gardens specialise in turning small town gardens into designer living spaces. We've done everything! From the smallest community gardens to large commercial constructions. Elaborate water features and natural stone paving, driveways, fencing, tree felling, planting, design, lighting. We can even fix up and paint your shed!

If you're not ready for a full design and rebuild, but simply want somebody to keep on top of your garden maintenance on a regular basis then we'll do that too, for a good price.
