ABBEY STOVES SHOULD BE ASHAMED
So I see I'm not the only one. We had a stove and flue fitted, problems on the installation day, after a month or so the stove started going rusty, when we complained they accused us of cleaning it with water, we complained to Hetas, we then found out Peter Harte the owner had not provided us with a certificate of complience, a registration plate or carbon monoxide detector, it was a massive breach of Hetas regulations and also we found out our home insurance was void if there had been a fire we would not have been covered, Peter wrote a letter to us and Hetas in December 2014 promising to replace the stove, It's now March 2015 and still no new stove. This company are cowboys, take your business elsewhere.

Abbey stoves
I'purchased a stove on the 15th January 13 from abbey stoves,my fireplace was checked for fitting on the 21st jan,i was told the stove I chose was the equal to 9 radiators well unfortunately this is not the case.2 different people from abbey stoves have been to check the stove it blatantly does not live up to expectations and obviously is faulty I've heard excuse after excuse,it's the logs, it's the way I light it,if two men take all in all 3 hours to get a stove up to heat then surely you should admit defeat but no the fitters seem to have swallowed a script of what I supposedly have done wrong,it's embarrassing for me and them.this company definitely take your money and then abuse your intelligence.im sitting in a freezing house with no heating as the stove replaced the open fire,it's snowing,it's the 12th feb 13 .after the fitters left yesterday after 2 hours staring at a fire that gives no heat I called the shop to replace the stove,I said I would upgrade to another stove if it meant I could just have heat but still this company treated me with contempt,I been told that yes that can happen but I will have to pay again for the fitting and stove,well I won't be doing that.watch this space and review ill keep you updated as to the out come.IM COLD in loughton and I would never recommend abbey stoves they stink dodgy people.
