RECENT BED PURCHASE
I paid a deposit on a adjustable bed sometime in April - at my nearest store (Llandudno). I was ASSURED that it would be ready within 10-14 working days. FIVE WEEKS later it FINALLY arrived - with the WRONG COLOUR HEADBOARD & WITHOUT the relevant MECHANISM to use the 'ADJUSTABLE' functions. I told the DELIVERY persons that I WOULD NOT pay the FULL amount until it WAS delivered. Finally they DID deliver the headboard & the 'ADJUSTABLE' function(s) needed. I contacted Able World by telephone to pay the REMAINING costs & to complain/ask if I could be 'recompensed' in some way - if only as a 'GOOD WILL' gesture, for all the DISTRESS/UPSET that I had been CAUSED, not to MENTION the INCONVENIENCE. My request was FLATLY REFUSED - as the person I SPOKE to said the issues/faults lay with the MANUFACTURERS & NOT with THEM!!! It is for THIS REASON ALONE that I WOULD NOT recommend ABLE WORLD to anybody ELSE who is thinking of purchasing an item such as this. PARTICULARLY as I feel their 'SERVICE' is NOT UP TO what I was assured it WOULD be!!!!!! I FELT VERY LET DOWN by their 'CUSTOMER SERVICE' on the DAY that I made my final payment over the telephone.
