beetle stolen from accrington beetles and campers
we entrusted our 1973 beetle into the bug shop for a long term resoration and were told we should have it back within 18 months. having trusted our car to them we did not hassle them about time and left them to it, after about 6 months we rang to see how it was going and were told it was on the ramps not to bother re taxing it as it was being kept in the garage. after this we tried to contact him several times offering to take money over to him to cover parts ect all to no avail. however after about another 4 months of trying to get in touch we recieved a letter from greater manchester police saying that our beetle had gone through a red light in bury, so we contacted the garage and they said it had been stolen the night before we rang. having reported it stolen to the police they told us that it also had a speeding ticket. it turned out that he had been lending our car to people NO WORK HAD BEEN DONE this is now 12 months that they had the car. do not trust this garage they left our car on the roadside for 12 months using it for thier own purpose and never doing any work and when we finaly managed to get hold of them they denied having it and then told us it had been stolen. this was in march 2008 its now august and he still has not replaced our car.

SHODDY WORK
RESTORED VW BEETLE 1303 GARAGE CHANGED HANDS HALFWAY THROUGH PROJECT NOTHING THAT WAS PROMISED TO BE DONE WAS EVER MET. PERSONALY WOULD RATHER GO TO QUICK FIT MECHANICS ARE MORE HONEST THERE. BE CAREFUL
