The team at Acorn provides a wide range of friendly, professional psychology and support services throughout the North West of England. We offer support for professionals working with children and young people aged from 0 to 24 years. We work within Educational settings (schools, colleges, early years centres and nurseries), Health settings and Social Care settings as well as for parents and carers. We work at the organisational, group and individual level and provide assessments, interventions advice, training and consultancy based support on various areas within child and adolescent development. Areas include: learning; cognition and academic development; speech, language and communication; social, emotional and behavioural; medical and physical and self-help. We work with children and young people with a variety of difficulties and disabilities from severe learning disabilities to those displaying extreme and challenging behaviour
