TRANSDUCERS

All our transducers are exclusively engineered for use in our speaker systems. Quite simply no off the shelf units fulfilled our design criteria.

Our baskets are cast in aluminium for rigidity, weight saving and heat dissipation providing a robust platform for our magnet structures.

In order to minimise power compression we have incorporated three individual cooling systems into our cone speakers. We cool through the basket, through a large central vent in the magnet and through several smaller vents through the magnet structure into the voice coil gap.

All our transducers, both woofer and HF, are fitted with demodulation shorting rings to minimise harmonic distortion. The shorting ring produces a more constant magnetic field and consequently a more linear operation of the transducer producing reduced colouration.

Our voice coils are designed to withstand extremes of heat using bonding agents developed by NASA. The inside/outside windings of the rectangular profile wire on our glass fibre formers provide greater contact between windings ensuring greater exposure of the winding to the magnetic field and thus aids heat dissipation.

The use of Kevlar impregnated polycellulose cones, double roll linen surrounds and double spiders in most of our cone transducers ensures reliability and longevity. The use of pure titanium domes and Mylar suspensions in our HF units provides greater damping and superior reliability than the more fragile all titanium designs.

In short, we have developed the finest system specific transducers possible. These units provide superior performance to any other transducers currently available.

LS1000

Our LS1000 line array system is the culmination of three years research, innovation and the application of science and technology into a market leading speaker system. The LS1000 system is engineered to provide high definition, high impact sound reinforcement with minimal frequency or SPL fluctuation throughout the listening area.

While it is easy for any manufacturer to wax lyrical about their products the most demanding test is how they perform in the real world. Happily, we can state our LS1000 range surpasses all expectations and predictions in live performance tests.

Our design philosophy is simple, engineer up to a standard never down to a budget. The LS1000 series is designed to outperform the competition, no excuses or compromises just results.

All transducers are custom engineered to our exacting specifications. Absolutely no compromises have been made regarding materials or components. Our digital system management and lightweight amplifiers are engineered specifically for use with our LS1000 system providing optimum performance.

The LS1000 system provides the highest power density from a small footprint of any line array system currently available. Ribbon coupling provides smooth even coverage at uniform SPL throughout the listening area with a system response from 30Hz-18kHz.
