At Brighton based Active Kampers we believe that hiring a new Volkswagen California campervan is the perfect way to enhance your holiday, festival or road-trip experience. It's the ultimate compact camper van, stylish, economical and drives like a car. The vans come equipped with all racks so just hire or bring your own kayak, bike, or surf board and make the most of our vans and the beautiful Sussex coast and South Downs.
It is cleverly designed for four people to travel and sleep in two berths, one upstairs in the raising roof and one downstairs. The optional tent awning allows others to sleep alongside. With lots of nifty storage space, 2-burner hob, sink, spacious fridge, heater, roll-out sun canopy, and clever hidden features (such as the foldaway picnic table and 2 chairs) that help give it the comfort of a bigger more bulky van. The campervans also come with kitchen and dining equipment.

As there is no limit on driving distances you can even take the vans across to France and Western Europe for a small insurance supplement.
