Reasonable job under difficult circumstances

We got Alan & Olly Richardson to prepare a concrete base for my large shed.(20'x8') and a base for my caravan. They were very pleasant guys to have on site; but the job took way longer than I & they anticipated due to heavy rain and the fact that they only work for 4 hours a day- arriving most days at 12 noon. They could have done the job a whole lot quicker if they had been able to work an 8 hour day but being mainly farmers and having a cow herd to look after; means the cow work came first. They were also a little disorganised at times, but did manage to overcome problems with a good sense of humour; encountered along the way. We were in a mess for 4 weeks but they did clear up after themselves in the end and the base should do the job for my shed and caravan to sit on. Getting hold of them on the phone or returning ones calls letting me know if they were coming the next day was a little hit & miss. We were glad when the job was finally completed. Pricewise they were a little more expensive than others. Would we use them again? - Maybe but their communication would have to better in keeping us informed as to when they would be on site.
