I offer an unobtrusive and efficient service leaving you to enjoy your special day, offering a combination of both traditional and creative reportage photography. My fresh approach aims to give you natural, creative images that capture the spirit of your day. I shoot a mixture of formal, posed photographs and reportage, natural un-posed images. Most couples choose to have a mixture of both. I am skilled at organising diverse groups of people but can also blend into the background to capture the more spontaneous, natural moments.
A relaxed and professional style is my key to getting natural and beautiful images on your wedding day. I love my work and believe that this shows in my photographs. My friendly and polite approach is a vital element in working together with you to ensure your photographs truly reflect your wedding day.
I specialize in modeling and portrait shoots in a wide range of styles including fashion, artistic, glamour, implied, art nude, and headshots. I can shoot both on location and at the studio to produce stunning results for your new portfolio.

First of all we would like to say a huge thank you to Alan for capturing the most amazing day my husband and I have ever had. We had a wedding of around 200 guests, and this alone you would expect to become a challenge to photograph. Alan did so with a huge amount of professionalism and charm. Our family shots were set against the rustic walls of the Park Farm house, which on screen and printed look fantastic. I particuarly love the way in which he captured the venues beautiful features, as it is quite a sentimental place for us as a couple. We had asked that after the professional shots, Alan could relax into the afternoon and evening taking pictures of the day as it unfolded. Myself, Olly and so many of our guest were overjoyed with the end result. Alan's strength by far was his ability to mingle with the guests and capture elements of the day that we would never have seen otherwise. Warren and Weena Wedding
Alan is a faultlessly professional and highly talented photographer. He not only captured beautiful traditional style and group shots of our big day but also took photographs that showed aspects of the day that as Bride and Groom we would not otherwise have seen or had a recorded lasting memory of. From the moment he arrived on the day he helped put a very large wedding party at ease with his friendly and professional manner and having previously scoped out the venue he was able to make suggestions for fantastic shots and knew exactly how we could get around the awful weather conditions on the day. Alan is extremely knowledgeable in his field and as well as listening to your ideas and input (and happily putting them into practice) he is able to bring his own style and ideas to your wedding photography, including things you'd may never have thought of, for us this included some wonderful shots of the bride in the honeymoon suite during and after getting ready and with the Groomsmens car, and some fabulous shots of the children who attended. The after service of edits, proofs and viewing was extremely fast and we couldn't be happier with our photographs. All in all we would highly recommend Alan Martin Wedding Photography to anyone who is looking for someone who goes the extra mile to capture their special day.
