About the Therapist

Alexia Smith is a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, having gained her Certificate, Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma from the London College of Hypnosis (LCCH). She is a member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) and the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR), who ensure high standards in the practice of Hypnotherapy.
In her sessions she combines Clinical Hypnotherapy with techniques from NLP, CBT, Psychotherapy and Solution-focused Brief Therapy. She is also a trained practitioner of EMDR; a ground-breaking technique used in the treatment of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. Alexia specialises in weight control and anxiety disorders.
Alexia currently runs three private practices in Exeter, Tiverton and Barnstaple. She is also a resident therapist at Nu Beginnings, a boutique weight loss boot camp in North Devon.
