Fascias
Wood has traditionally been used to enhance a home's exterior.
Fascias, bargeboards, soffits, and cladding - it's surprising how much timber there is on the outside of most houses.
The trouble with this is, as well as your guttering and downpipes, it all needs regular maintenance to stave off the problems of rot, rust, mould and

Awful Experience
Dale knocked at the door - told me they were working on a property locally. Arranged an appt for 10am the next day. They called and changed it to 12. On the day a young fella turned up. I told him I did not have the time for a long debate. I was washing the cars. He mentioned that we would have to sit down to discuss the requirement due to the Consumer Protection Association. What a load of chocolate! He measured up anyway. When done he started again with the 'We must sit down and discuss it with you and your partner'. I told him one last time he deals with me there and then or he can leave. No price or quote left, nothing. I certainly would NEVER engage this company in any capacity. No transparency, looking to get a foot in the door tactics and they left me with the feeling that they have something to hide.

this company are very pushy they visted my mother a few weeks ago after having a man at the door reting to push an appointment onto her when she strictley told the man no she wasnt intrested what so ever the person at her door must of been in his late 40s and should know better i will be taking this further as i have his name

Unhappy
My house is a middle terrace and I paid #1300 pounds for 5metres of guttering and facias at the front and the same at the back (There are no downpipes). What they neglected to tell me when I first got the quote was that the ground floor bay window's guttering and d/pipe was not included, nor was the guttering and down pipe on the conservatory. For the amount of money I paid it should have been in with the price. I have called them two or three times and each time they have said they will get in touch with their manager and call me back. Guess what, no call back, what a surprise. Would NOT recommend them. Very annoyed from Nuneaton

Doncaster fitting team
Having the roof line done today. I was a little concerned at first as no one came to survey the house before fitting as promised. The salesman was pleasent and gave the usual sales pich, but he didn't give the 'hard sell'. The team turned up early, and were friendly from the start. I was also concerned as they didn't scaffold the house as per other companies had done on similar houses in the street. The fitters got out the equipment from the van which was all top quality and soon found they did have correct working platforms to go over the conservatory and built on garage. Half of the job is now completed, and cleaned up ready to finish off tomorrow. The quality looks good so far and has made a vast improvement to the house. One thing that does bother me though is that I have it in writing via email that they will install Swish products, but I didn't see any Swish brand names on the plastics?? I would reccomend the team that has been at my house today as they just cracked on with the job. They have even re-pointed the tiles at both sides of the house and didn't even mention it to me. It's the little things like that that impress me with tradesmen.

outstanding installation
after having made an appointment with a leaflet distributor i then did some research on the internet only to become a little worried after reading some of the reviews. HOWEVER a chap later called and showed us some examples from which we made our choices. he then gave us a quote which was comparable to other quotes we had from 2 larger companies . we opted to order and awaited installation. the installers turned up on the day arranged and worked straight through with no breaks from 8am untill 4.30 ! .the finished work looked amazing and i have now been asked several times who installed the work and feel i must now right this review to applaud what a quality job i have and how simple the whole process was . Thank you all weather roofline !!! x

it makes me smile at these "reviews" there is no one that says anything good about anyone on these sites, my mother used awr for her facsia boards and guttering, i was present at the visit and knowing how the industry works you have to say yes or no on the day to snap up a bargain, as far as im concerned something is worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for it, we snapped up an absolute bargain and it was fitted a week or so later and my mother couldnt be happier. would have them back without question!! mrs s owen, ilkeston
