Alum Rock Youth Project is open to all young people aged 11-19 in the Alum Rock area and provides a place where you can meet friends, make new friends, and learn or try new activities, some of which may be completely new to. Young people can drop in to the youth club on a Thursday or Friday from 5pm till 8pm and they are welcome by the youth workers working here. Youth workers will encourage young people to join in the club's programmes. You could learn a new skill like music or computing, or possibly plan a trip away. Young People are also able to relax and listen to music or play pool, table tennis, game consoles and much, much more. There are activities specifically for girls and young women. We also work closely with parents to give young people the support they need to progress further in education, training and employment. Youth Workers aim to transform attitudes so that all children have the chance to be included in the play and learning of everyday life.
