Apex-Works is focused on changing lives. We are a charity set up in Leicester in 1982. We work with disadvantaged people in Leicester and Leicestershire who face multiple barriers to employment. We engage them in education and training, to open up opportunities and enable them to achieve paid employment.
We offer support, learning and jobs to ex-offenders, as well as self-employment help.
Our Green Light project supports homeless people to complete qualifications, complete work experience, undertake employability workshops to find employment.
We offer a range of courses for people aged 18 onwards. Courses include; Functional skills English, Maths and ICT and vocational courses such as; Health and Safety in the Workplace, Food Hygiene, Manual Handling and many more.
Our Apex Enabled programme supports vulnerable people with work preparation and work experience in order to find employment.
We provide information, advice and guidance (IAG) services for people who have been out of work for a long time. We support these people in learning and training in order to find work.
