POOR SERVICE

I ordered window shutters from Appeal back in September 2012, I was excited as i have one shutter bought from a local company, but as Appeal seems a professional company i went with them. I was told the shutters would arrive and be fitted for Xmas. I paid more than half the money, £654, so far, 2 shutters were £1206 in total. I did not receive the shutters until Jan 2013, and then i opened the boxes to check them and noticed they would no way fit my windows, I contacted them and was told by Tina Rawlings, that I WAS MISTAKEN! i had a joiner check them and the shutters were uplifted a few weeks later, I wanted to cancel the order as i have had to buy two venetian blinds as they were for bedrooms! I was met with a direct objection to cancel and contacted Trading Standards who said i could demand a refund due to the poor service. It is now April 15th 2013, and no word on my Shutters or contact with the company, they took 4 days to reply to my Email, I have since taken further Legal Advice, I am ver disappointed and do not recommend them at all. Also a friend of mine ordered a shutter for her Bay Window at a cost of £1400, and has to complain as dirty marks do not clean off, the Quality or finish is poor.
