Arriva

Despite Arriva being a well-known and respected company, they have yet to live up to these expectations in the Teesside area. Arriva are ALWAYS editing bus routes & transport timetables (including trains). The services in Middlesbrough (bus) are a good example. In August 2008, Arriva knocked out Stagecoach from the Middlesbrough Bus Station - James Cook Hosp service. But, just less than a year on, Arriva are taking the "X6" off, and there will be no DIRECT services to James Cook ran by any operator. Instead, buses are being diverted to Yarm, Redcar, Whitby & Scarborough, missing out one of the main routes to James Cook. Services are generally delayed too, I was waiting 25 minutes for the service to Newcastle from Middlesbrough Bus Station the other day, and this was because it was infact 25 minutes late. Quite a Below-Average operator if you ask me.
