A very warm welcome to the website of Avon Accommodation.

Situated on the edge of the historic market town of Ringwood, Avon Accommodation can be found above the Old Cottage Restaurant, which is one of the oldest most painted and photographed buildings in Ringwood, dating back many centuries.The path of the river Avon embraces the garden on its way to the sea at Christchurch. The market place and town centre with its many shops, pubs and restaurants are a few minutes walk. The accommodation comprises of two first floor apartment suites recently refurbished to reflect the character of the building. Due to the age of the structure the steep stairs may make the suites unsuitable for very young children or those who would find stairs difficult as we have no lift. Well behaved pets only by prior arrangement. Strictly no smoking.

Complimentary tea/coffee and Welcome Pack are provided. Our guests are offered a 10% discount from the full bill on meals eaten in the restaurant below at lunch or dinner (not available bank holidays or commemorative days,such as Mother's Day).

The garden alongside the river is available for guests to enjoy. There is limited off road parking and free parking on the adjacent streets (daytime time restrictions apply) as well as public car parks within a short walk.

We are pleased to accept bookings for short breaks, weekly holidays or longer stays. We are happy to provide a continental breakfast in your fridge for you when you arrive and then delivered daily on request.

About the Accommodation

Avon Accommodation is housed in a delightful thatched cottage which dates back many centuries. The suites are full of charm and character, sympathetically restored and refurbished offering high quality accommodation. Due to the age and nature of the property there are uneven floors, narrow steep stairs, some very low beams and door heights, so please mind your head! Each suite can be accessed through the main door when the restaurant is open and through the marked doors when closed. Strictly non smoking.

Breakfast

We are less than a minutes walk from the town centre where there are a number of bakeries, cafes and coffee shops (including Nero Coffee) which open early for breakfast. A Continental breakfast comprising croissants, butter jam, yogurt and fresh orange juice can be left in your fridge for an extra £5 per person per night. Additional items can be provided on request. Please let us know if you would like us to provide breakfast. Full English breakfasts are available close by.

Lunch and Dinner

We offer a wide variety of menu options in the restaurant downstairs and will give our guests 10% reduction from the final dining bill (not available Bank Holidays or commemorative days such as Mother's Day) . We offer lunchtime specials, an A la Carte Menu, a Fixed Price Menu and a Vegetarian Menu as well as a specials board for fresh fish and game in season. Not forgetting our little angels there is also a Junior Menu. There are many pubs and restaurants just a short stroll away.
